Harinya develops software applications and products depend on the type of design, architecture and technology. For application development with Microsoft technologies, we prefer to work with relational database management systems viz., SQL Server starting from SQL Server Express or SQL Server Enterprise Edition to SQL Server Compact Edition. Apart from these database systems, we are also working on SQL Analysis Services and SQL Reporting Services. For non Microsoft environments, we are using Oracle & MySQL as per the requirements of the development systems. Also, we are working with Crystal Reports together with out own reporting engine for the dynamic and automated generation of reports.
     
SQL Server Express

SQL Server Express is the free version of SQL Server. We can use this in place of the standard or enterprise versions of SQL Server for smaller customers.

SQL Server Compact Edition

SQL Server Compact Edition is a free, easy-to-use embedded database engine that lets developers build robust Windows Desktop and mobile applications that run on all Windows platforms including Windows XP, Vista, Pocket PC and Smartphone.

SQL Analysis Services

SQL Server Analysis Services is a middle-tier server for online analytical processing (OLAP) and data mining. The Analysis Services system includes a server that manages multidimensional cubes of data for analysis and provides rapid client access to cube information.

SQL Reporting Services

SQL Server Reporting Services is a comprehensive, server-based solution that enables the creation, management and delivery of both traditional, paper-oriented reports and interactive, web-based reports.

Oracle

As the first object-relational server, Oracle introduces an object-oriented paradigm providing new capabilities for managing data complexity. Oracle server has lot of enhancements in each release, improving overall availability, performance, manageability, multimedia data type support and replication functionality.

MySQL

MySQL, the most popular open source SQL database, which delivers a very fast, multi-threaded, multi-user, and robust SQL database server. It is intended for mission-critical, heavy-load production systems as well as for embedding into mass-deployed software.

Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports is an intuitive reporting solution that helps customers rapidly create flexible, feature-rich, high-fidelity reports and tightly integrate them into web and windows applications. Crystal Reports has been part of Visual Studio since 1993, and is now the standard for reporting in Visual Studio Editions. It ships with every copy of Visual Studio and is integrated directly into the development environment. With Crystal Reports for Visual Studio, we can create complex and professional reports in a GUI-based program. Then we can connect the report to almost any database source, as well as to proxy data, such as a result set (for example, an ADO.NET DataSet). With the wizards included in the GUI designer, we can easily set formatting, grouping, charting, and other criteria.
